Biden’s ready to grant all the LGBTQ wishes

As vice president in 2012, Joe Biden endeared himself to many LGBTQ Americans by endorsing same-sex marriage even before his boss, President Barack Obama.
Now, as president-elect, Biden is making sweeping promises to LGBTQ activists, proposing to carry out virtually every major proposal on their wish lists. Among them: Lifting the Trump administration’s near-total ban on military service for transgender people, barring federal contractors from anti-LGBTQ job discrimination, and creating high-level LGBTQ-rights positions at the State Department, the National Security Council and other federal agencies.
Then, because journalism is dead, the article spreads outright lies and baselessly smears Trump;
In many cases the measures would reverse executive actions by President Donald Trump, whose administration took numerous steps to weaken protections for transgender people and create more leeway for discrimination against LGBTQ people, ostensibly based on religious grounds.

Apparently people with severe mental illness and expensive, complicated hormone regimes are supposed to be allowed to serve in the military. As if we don’t have enough mental illness already from people who start from a place of stability. We’ve lost orders of magnitude more servicemen and women to suicide than to COVID, so let’s throw a group that is vastly more prone to suicide into the mix.

Saw this the other night on the news feed and did not clicky on the linky. Today won’t be any different. Did see a blurb that made mention of the fact that 80 some odd percent of the United States is made up of Hetrosexual Caucasian folks that more or less marry or are in relationships with the opposite sex. Yet 90 some odd percent of TV shows and commercials have mixed race and/or same sex couples shown. The majority is being dictated to by the minority, and if they don’t go along with the forced feeding of a different lifestyle, then they are labeled as sexist, racists, or some other ist. I have NO problem with a person or persons identifying as whatever they want to call themselves. I also have NO problem with someone choosing whatever willing partner they want to get freaky with, as long as they leave kids and kritters out of the mix. What I DO have a problem with is them forcing me to accept their behavior and or paying for any adjustments to their plumbing or mental state.

Will never understand why I should be the slightest bit concerned with the sexual proclivities of others. Don’t make me no never mind who or what floats yer boat and with whom you have a consensual relationship.
Don’t we already have regulations and laws about sexual harassment? If somebody, anybody, insists that I watch or hear about their sexual conquests, isn’t that a no-no? If I must be a party to your sexual fantasies, whatever they might be, isn’t that already against the law? Why would it matter if your allusions or delusions are about men, women, children, beasts, or inanimate objects?
Hack Stone has said it before, but when the military accepts transgender troops, just how long are they out of the fight, that is non deployable, while they undergo pre-surgery psychological screening, hormone therapy, they go under the knife, and all of the follow up treatment? Would they be obligated to extended enlistments like certain technical schools (five or six years) so the military can recoup some of their investment? What about other individuals with preexisting conditions who would like to enlist? Can morbidly obese enlist, and have liposuction, at government expense, in order to qualify? The military used to recruit the best qualified with the least baggage (waivers). Are these Transgender uniquely skilled in critical fields that need to be filled? What if they score on the low end of the ASVAB? Given their particular needs, will they need to score in Category A? These are serious questions that Hack has never seen answered.
They’re just more equal than others, ie special waivers and considerations will be made so to make things fairerer.

EXACTLY!!!!! I served 25 years in total active, guard and reserve. I was medically retired from further service and my expected promotion dropped because I was NO LONGER DEPLOYABLE!!!! It sucked but I got it. I could not deploy. I was of no further value added if the military needed every one in the fight. I have NO ISSUE with trans people. You’re an adult, whatever, but if you can not deploy for several years you’re no good to us and that doesn’t even include those that will join just to get the government funded transitions complete with breast for better confidence and self esteem or addadicktome surgery. Oh, btw, after a finite amount of time any medical issues incurred during service become owned by the service and the VA. Stay 8 years, free trans health care for life.
Too late to worry about that now. The precedent has already been set by allowing women to get special treatment.
Yeah, that’s another issue…. hmmm…. I am by no way saying that someone can’t do jobs like infantry quite well. That being said, let’s look a few years back when the powers that be said, hmmmmmm, we really need to rethink PT to make it more combat centric and make one standard, male and female, we all are equal and have the same tasks in the fight. Fast forward, now, hmm…. something over 70% of women and 30% of men are failing. This must be relooked to allow more women to pass. Sorry, but BULLSHIT!!!!! Male or female, can’t meet the standard and contribute to our forces ability to fight and win wars. Thank you for your service, goodbye, but you can try later, no bad paper for that.

I have a brilliant idea: since many of these twits attempt to or do commit suicide, put them in “special warrior” groups. Give the the front lines to protect – that sort of thing.

The Chief of Staff of the Division at that time was Colonel Douglas MacArthur, As they were discussing the organization of the Division and reviewing the National Guard units from 26 states that would make up the Division, Colonel Douglas MacArthur commented that “The 42nd Division stretches like a Rainbow from one end of America to the other.” The comment caught the interest of those present and they decided to call it the “Rainbow Division”.

Yup. My grandpa was the 42nd in 1917, by way of the Idaho National Guard. Accelerated promotion followed (to SGM) mainly because he could read, write, and type.
Had some Great Uncles in the One Fifty FIRST Machine Gun Bn Rainbow Div. Tracks their lineage back to 1825. Nice Monument to the Boys on Coleman Hill in Macon Georgia. Now part of the 48th BCT. BnL deployed to the sand box with them…twice…once to A’stan.
