Trump pardons Flynn

| November 26, 2020

US President Donald Trump has pardoned his former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

President Trump has pardoned his first national security adviser, retired General Michael Flynn, who spent years enmeshed in a bizarre legal war with the government that sprang from the Russia investigation.

Trump announced the news Wednesday on Twitter as Americans prepared to observe the Thanksgiving holiday this week.

It is my Great Honor to announce that General Michael T. Flynn has been granted a Full Pardon. Congratulations to @GenFlynn and his wonderful family, I know you will now have a truly fantastic Thanksgiving!

Even the Justice Department knew this case stunk to high heaven, and remained mute on the matter except to state the pardon was an appropriate use of presidential power.

The Dems, of course, howled.

Dem leaders condemn Trump’s pardon of Michael Flynn: ‘Abuse of power’

Pelosi lambasted Trump for pardoning his former national security adviser
By Megan Henney

Democratic leaders lambasted President Trump for pardoning his former national security adviser Michael Flynn on Wednesday, condemning the move as a “brazen” abuse of power.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said that Trump’s act was one of “grave corruption” and said that Flynn “must be held accountable” for a “serious and dangerous breach of our national security.”

“President Trump’s pardoning of Michael Flynn, who twice pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his dealings with a foreign adversary, is an act of grave corruption and a brazen abuse of power,” Pelosi said in a statement. “Trump is again using the pardon power to protect those who lie to cover up his wrongdoing.”

Trump announced the decision Wednesday in a tweet after months of speculation that he would pardon his first national security adviser, who had pleaded guilty twice to knowingly making false statements to the FBI about a conversation he had during the presidential transition period with the then-Russian ambassador.

Flynn later worked to withdraw his guilty plea in January 2020. In May, the Justice Department (DOJ), after initially defending the prosecution, reversed its position and began looking to drop the charges against him. His legal case had since stalled, after U.S. District Court Judge Emet Sullivan resisted the DOJ’s request and appointed a judge to determine whether Flynn should be held in criminal contempt for perjury.

The Dems aren’t satisfied with breaking and beggaring him, so they whistle up an activist judge to drag the proceedings out as long as possible. Enough is well past enough. Read the rest of the article here: Fox News

I read that if the left tries to prosecute Trump and Flynn is called in, he cannot take the 5th. Can someone out their verify this?

Skippy

You are right about the Democrats going after
Trump. a group was set up quietly at the DOJ
to go after trump and deal with other issues
Concerning his actions. This is the reason
Why I’ve lost complete faith in Barr and Durham. Their investigation was wrapped up in September and they sat on it.
It doesn’t help either that Trump is a idiot
And doesn’t seem to understand
He could stand up a special counsel
But who cares anymore. He’s finished

^Word^ Too little, too late. Trump shoulda went after the domestic enemies of our Republic in a systematic way from the FIRST! He mistakenly believed that all of the demonrats that had been his buddies, taking his campaign monies and what not, would let him take his place as POTUS and truly work to Make America Great Again. He did not realize that they had already started plotting to destroy his Presidency, and the Country.

Phuque Pigalousy and all of the other Swamp Dwellings Bastards in Washington DC. How many rapists and yes, even murdering pieces of trash from hell did Slick Willy and the Bitch of Benghazi, dasHitlerbeast get pardoned. And let’s not forget the thugs and traitors that oblome turned loose.

“…take a bow to the new Revolution…”

Slow Joe

I am really saddened by the state of our Republic.

Trump is the greatest President I ever had, but his misunderstanding of how Washington really works it’s starting to look like a critique of that old movie, “Mr Smith goes to Washington”.

abuse of the pardon power

There is no such thing. The pardon power is absolute and without recrimination or override. Always was set up that way.

Commissar

Trump is going to pardon himself and his children.

After he pardons his other co-conspirators.

And he might resign and have Pence pardon him as well. If Pence is willing.

SFC D

This is what you consistently refer to as a “fever dream”. Get some help.

Commie-Tsar

I like to engage in “mental masturbation”… with my pants down at my ankles!

NR Pax

How dare he commit the crime of beating Hillary in a fair election!

Anonymous

Left/libtards never forget or forgive butthurt.

NR Pax

I like the remix better:

Skippy

What why after the DOJ dropped the charges
And the judge went off the rails did they not take
It to the SCOTUS ????

Tallywhagger

There may an order of operations from the court of findings to the court of appeal and then, given sufficient merit, the SCOTUS may become a venue.

The suck of the whole story is that Flynn did plead. Sullivan did caution Flynn and his counsel about making a plea.

Sullivan seems to have taken exception about the conflicted pleadings, admitting guilt as an expedient.

Flynn has been hosed on this scheme from the outset. Somebody really, really wants to suppress him.

In the redux… duress, coercion, expedience, it can be argued that Flynn made false statements to the court.

Sheesh, you might think that judges get used to defendants trying to optimize their circumstances.

11B-Mailclerk

What is the legal risk to lawyers who advise conduct that later turns out to be perjury?

Is is as simple as a presumption that client lied to their lawyer too?

26Limabeans

Great stuffing for the leftists.

Tallywhagger

Now, Trump needs to appoint him as Director of Homeland Security and let him “have at it” while the gittins are good.

Quartermaster

We’ll see what happens with the election challenges. Two judges have now said they will hear the evidence, one in Pa, the other NV. I think the dam is about to break and Trump will have a 2nd inaugural.

rgr769

At the last hearing on Flynn’s case, that corrupt D-rat judge, queried his hand picked fellow TDS infected judge pal and “friend of the court” whether new charges could be filed against Flynn by a new administration. Once a modern day Savonarola and an Inspector Javert come after you, they never give up.

rgr769

Oops, auto correct put a period in that first sentence instead of a comma and capitalized the next word. I need to find a way to shut it off.

Fixed.

Anonymous

Happy Leftists are getting hysterical from TDS about this right now.

Anonymous

Of course, Twitter is blocking such stuff… I’m still happy left/libtards are upset.

Berliner

What the media on the left leaves out is Flynn was going to plead guilty to keep his son out of prison.

rgr769

He did plead guilty. And he did it because the Mule-ear Mob threatened to indict his son and ruin him financially. But last January he moved to withdraw that extorted guilty plea. That motion was one of many filed by Sydney Powell that was yet to be ruled upon by that corrupt District of Criminals federal judge.

OldSoldier54

May the name of Emmet Sullivan live in Infamy, for as long as the LORD’s sun shines.

NHSparky

Marc Rich, Bradley Manning, and Oscar Rivera could not be reached for comment.

Mason

They were freedom fighters.

Hondo

Denise Rich couldn’t be reached for comment, either. Word is she was instrumental in inducing Clinton to pardon Marc.

KoB

Hondo, I heard there was a good chance that the instrument she played to induce him is sometimes referred to as a “skin flute”. Or “Mouth Organ”. A favored tune could have been “Blow The Man Down.”

Skippy

🤣😜😀🤣🤣😂😅

rgr769

I think that inducement was her $1 million contribution to the Clinton Library, but BJ Willie and Eric Holder say that had no effect on a pardon for Mr. Rich, as he hid out overseas. So, we have to believe them, cuz D-rats never lie.

OldSoldier54

I really wanted that pathetic excuse for a Judge Emmet Sullivan to somehow come to his senses and dismiss like the DOJ did.

Bongino convinced me that the ONLY way LTG Flynn would get Justice would be through a Presidential Pardon. The good news is that he is now able to speak freely.

I think he should replace Haspel and the DHS should be disbanded. The Republic doesn’t need a Gestapo. Maybe appoint him as temporary head of DOJ and FBI and clean those Dens of Iniquity up.

And I believe Trump is going to win a second term. All is not lost.

From John Solomon’s Just the News, an example of James Mattis’ betrayal of the Republic, the military, and the United States Marine Corps.

He had a lot of us fooled.

Here is link to Sydney Powell’s suit against Republican Governor Brian Kemp, SecState Brad Reffensberger, et al. It includes a link to a PDF of the suit for you info.

Let slip the Kraken, and let the chips fall where they may. Might want to check out the Geller Report, too.

Give thanks to the Holy One. None of this has come as a surprise to Him. Happy Thanksgiving.

Quartermaster

FBI and much of DOJ should be disbanded.

Tallywhagger

Yes, I think so. Maybe rework the organizational structure into regions. The down tick is that it essentially reduces the United States into United-States.

Imagine California, Oregon and Washington coalescing. Secession was the right thing the first time.

At the end of the day it still comes back to the fact that all politics are local politics. It is the grass roots that has made the devolution of democracy into a reality.

While the system is still better than anywhere or anything else, it is still rotten to the core.

I wonder how Judge Roy Bean might handle the matter. Imagine Cuomo or the Michigan pig offering “their best” to the carrion.

Commissar

How the hell can’t you see how off the deep end you and your cult has become to be calling for this nonsense.

Why? Because you refuse to believe Trump is a criminal?

rgr769

We believe you are likely a criminal. We have no evidence of that but we are free to believe it, just as you are free to believe your bullhsit. So, take a hike, you phony mofo and paid propagandist. Your bogus psyop campaign has no effect here.

SFC D

He’s no criminal. He’s a fraud that’s been force-fed liberal propaganda for so long it spews out every time he opens his mouth.

Deckie

A properly indoctrinated UCB hack stuck in the forlorn ghetto of a shithole city in a shithole state. Shame they don’t have better career placement at that fine lil’ institution.

Hope the degree is at least two ply for comfort.

OWB

Must disagree with you on that. He is VERY likely to be a criminal as well. His certitude about the outcome of the election suggests that he is part of the conspiracy and fraud which resulted in hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots being inserted into the election totals. His choice of words and the ferocity with which he projected those words were telling. He exposed himself as having knowledge of an impending criminal act before that act was committed.

Mason

The FBI has always had corruption and ethics issues. They have an amazing PR team that somehow sets them up as above reproach despite ample evidence of decades of corruption that goes back to their founding.

Commissar

Judge Smith is more of a Patriot than Flynn and Trump combined.

It pisses me off how much you all take Trump and the propaganda of his supporters at face value.

OldSoldier54

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!

Whatever helps you sleep at night, I guess …

USMC Steve

Well then, don’t go away mad, just go the fuck away. Your obtrusiveness is just as tiring to us. Clear evidence of sedition for four year from the traitors of the socialist democrat party, and an attempt and a clumsy one to steal an election. Were you actually an American, one might think you would be pissed that the socialist powers that be were disenfranchising you for their own ends.

SFC D

Judge Smith is a partisan hack, who just like you, believes he’s the smartest guy in the room. I’ve got news for you sunshine.

Commissar

This guy is a traitor.

Trump will pardon all the co-conspirators that did not flip on him.

Sapper3307

I have a anonymous source close to Commissar that told me in secret that “Commissar is a KGB astronaut” and is being investigated by the October Guard.

Commissar

After reading this thread I am so thankful the cult of personality most of you belong to won’t be running the country anymore and likely never will again.

NHSparky

You keep telling yourself that, Lars.

Of course, wholesale fraud is the only way you can win.

11B-Mailclerk

If you ever had an original thought it would likely render you catatonic.

Deckie

Great story, O-4 Taylor. Now kindly GFY.

OWB

This is exactly the guy who should be appointed to lead the DOJ et al. Yep.

Sapper3307

Hey Lars ,, not every president can have a Bradly Manning to pardon.

USMC Steve

To be fair to the socialist, Homey the Klown didn’t pardon Manning, he just let him out of jail early.

Sparks

Commissar, you’re a cocksucker and I think you like being called that.

Poetrooper

Yup, the boy possesses an insatiable craving for recognition of his greatest accomplishments…

😂😂😂

11B-Mailclerk

He apparently enjoys the taste of boot.

Berliner

I’m sure all is forgiven for Hunter Biden. Hopefully he finishes his 7th rehab (or is it his 8th?) in record time. The ChiCom economy needs the boost!

Roh-Dog

Glad I came back and read this. So when is the (not-so) Good Major going to be appointed Comrade General by the Bolshevik AOC Wing and round up all of us ‘dirty cult members’?
If anyone gets the S2 on that, holla. In the meantime I’ll be sharpening this stick.
F*gs.
