California man faces perjury charges following murder acquittal

By Ryann Richardson
After a jury found him not guilty of murder, reckless endangerment and assault charges in March, a California man is facing two second-degree felony charges of false or inconsistent material statements.

Elbert John Paule, 20 of Chula Vista, California, was charged with first-degree felony murder, second-degree felony obstruction of justice, class A misdemeanor reckless endangerment and class B misdemeanor assault after shooting and killing 26-year-old Dominique Barnett at his Orem apartment in February 2019.

Arrest documents alleged Paule had thrown the weapon — a 12-gauge shotgun — off the apartment balcony and fled to California where he turned himself over to police. The shooting took place in front of Barnett’s fiancé.

Poor losers in Utah County Attorney’s office, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes. Today’s gun prOn proof controls cannot work. Finally, starting November off with a Sunday FGS Trifecta.

“After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small, complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd.” — Alexis de Tocqueville on soft despotism

Appears to be a true .50 cal (1/2 inch) with threaded barrel.
The stainless foregrip rings are nice with one of them positioned
as a sight and the other as a trigger guard. msrp?

Hack Stone

That pistol looks like a standard sidearm issued from the armory of Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency.

Now that homemade . . . um, “pistol” is true gun pr0n, AW1Ed: butt-ugly, unreliable, and dangerously unsafe. (smile)

Sapper3307

Is that the new Glock 1911?

Ahhhh it’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Actually a double trifecta for today! How, you ask? Well, here, I’ll ‘splain it to you Lucys.

(1) A trifecta of DRTs for our Brother Wilted Willy.

(2) A downright fugly piece of gun pr0n for the sick bastards that are into that sort of thing. (you know WHO you are) (not that there is anything wrong with that)

(3) A drop dead gorgeous, Sunday Delight, Voluptuous Ms Thang in her LBD, looking fine as all out doors…Honey Hush! There are brick outhouses that are pea green with envy and weeping with sorrow because they are not as well constructed as she is. I wonder if she cooks. too?

Now if I can just get motivated enough to get into the K Roger for a provision run, I can get me enough 75% off Halloween Candy to tide me over til Christmas.

One of the many fascinating topics Hognose (RIP) posted on Weaponsman.com (RIP) was “do it yourself guns”. I didn’t know there were so many ways to make receivers.

I found the below link. Some of the writing of Hognose lives on.
