New York county legislator allegedly tried to trade pills for sex, report says

KoB sends in this feller;

A Long Island pol, who is also a renowned physician, was arrested Tuesday in a sting operation after allegedly trying to swap pills for sexual favors, according to a report.

Dr. William Spencer, a legislator for Suffolk County’s 18th District, was nabbed in a parking lot behind a Goodwill store where he believed he was meeting a woman, sources told NBC New York.

But he was set up by a task force led by the Suffolk County district attorney’s office, along with Suffolk and Nassau County police, the sheriff’s office and agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration, the outlet reported.

In addition to being a legislator and a well-regarded doctor, Spencer is also an ordained minister. He now faces drug-related charges, the report said.

Spencer couldn’t be reached for comment by The Post on Tuesday night. The DA’s office didn’t return calls or emails on Tuesday night.

Woman accused of impersonating prosecutor, dropping criminal charges against herself

I’ll give this woman points for balls and style.

A Littleton [New Hampshire] woman allegedly impersonated a Hillsborough County prosecutor when she filed bogus documents with court officials declaring that the drug possession and stalking case against her had been dropped, according to recently released indictments.

Lisa Landon, 33, of Railroad Street, Littleton, faces one charge of false personation and six charges of falsifying physical evidence, according to Hillsborough County grand jury indictments handed up earlier this month.

The indictments allege that Landon submitted the fake documents in three different court cases last November and December. In several instances, she used the New Hampshire court system’s electronic system to file documents.

In November, Hillsborough County prosecutors became suspicious when they heard from a state forensic examiner, who had been scheduled to perform a competency evaluation on Landon.

The examiner saw a notice in Landon’s court file that prosecutors had dropped charges; the examiner wanted to know if the examination should go forward.

“The file purported to contain a nolle prosequi (drop the charges) filed by Assistant County Attorney Patrice Casian, but it quickly became evident to the State that the document, as well as other documents in the file, had been filed fraudulently,” wrote Superior Court Judge David Anderson in a ruling regarding the case.

Indictments allege Landon also filed an order falsifying a decision of retired Superior Court Judge Gillian Abramson to waive filing fees in a lawsuit she brought against Hillsborough County. And she allegedly filed an order on behalf of a relative to halt guardianship proceedings involving Landon’s child.

Landon’s history includes criminal charges in Manchester related to stalking and possession of methamphetamine.

The grand jury also returned indictments of burglary and theft against Landon.

Search of home leads to stolen guns, 15 pounds of pot, felon’s arrest

KoB helped me out with this one;

Police went to a northwest Atlanta home searching for a wanted suspect. Instead, they found more than a dozen pounds of marijuana, thousands of dollars in cash and stolen guns.

Police arrested 24-year-old Tyrone Scott, a felon, on a slew of drug trafficking charges in connection with the search.

Officers made the discovery while looking for a suspect Wednesday at a home in the 500 block of Cedar Avenue, the police department said in a statement. No details were released about the initial investigation.

The suspect police were looking for wasn’t at the home, officials said. However, investigators at the scene saw a “large amount of marijuana” inside the house, the department said.

While executing a search warrant on the home, police found 15 pounds of marijuana and 19 pounds of THC-infused edibles, officials said. Officers also found 91 grams of cocaine, 10 grams of MDMA, 11 Dankwoods pre-rolled marijuana blunts and $6,763 in cash.

The search also yielded seven guns, three of which had been reported stolen, officials said.

Scott, who was inside the home, was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, trafficking cocaine, possession of MDMA with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was booked into the Fulton County Jail, where he remains.

Authorities search for other victims of accused mortuary thief

Another from the KoB;

Authorities put out a call Tuesday for any additional alleged victims of a mortuary services worker accused of looting a recently deceased Spring Valley man’s home, carrying away valuables with a gurney and a body bag.

Sammy Willie Gates, 49, allegedly ransacked the 60-year-old man’s house late on the night of Aug. 31, about 11 hours after deputies conducting a welfare check found the resident dead of natural causes, according to sheriff’s officials.

On Sept. 2, one of the victim’s relatives reported discovering items, including a firearm and safe, missing from the residence, Sgt. Karen Bloch said. Two days later, the family reported that reviews of surveillance camera footage had revealed that the home of the victim, whose name has not been released, had been burglarized.

The video clips showed a man — later identified by investigators as Gates, owner of independently operated Mortuary Transportation Services — arriving at the man’s house in a white utility van, the sergeant said.

Gates allegedly entered the home and exited shortly thereafter with two bags filled with stolen property, then returned with a gurney and an empty body bag that he used to haul away more property.

On Sept. 9, detectives from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at Gates’ El Cajon-area home, where the deceased man’s safe and gun allegedly were recovered, along with 16 additional firearms, many believed to be war relics dating back to the early 1900s.

“Two additional safes, multiple personal identifying documents, jewelry, watches, war medals, comic books and several thousand dollars in collectable coins were also recovered from Gates’ residence,” the sergeant alleged. “A gurney and body bags matching (those seen in) the surveillance video (from) the victim’s residence were recovered from Gates’ white utility van.”

Gates was jailed on suspicion of residential burglary and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Since Gates’ arrest, detectives have identified five additional victims of similar crimes allegedly committed by the suspect, Bloch alleged.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477 or contact the agency online at sdcrimestoppers.org. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

Man breaks into sheriff’s deputy’s home, gets ‘greeted’ by two K9s

This might be the stupidest criminal of the year.

A man from Point Pleasant [West Virginia] is facing burglary charges following an alleged break-in of a Mascon County Sheriff’s deputy’s home – but those burglary charges are not all this suspect walked away with.

The suspect happened to have broken into the home that held an active police K9 and a retired one, and was bitten by the two German Shepherds.

Mason County Deputy Jeremy Ferrell was inside of his home on October 22nd when he found an uninvited individual inside of his basement:

“I came downstairs, looked to the left [and] saw some person I never seen before in my life, in my basement.”

According to Point Pleasant Police, the man who’d broken into the deputy’s home was James Will III, and while Deputy Ferrell had “never seen” the suspect before – local police say they’re quite familiar with Will.

Deputy Ferrell and the suspect were said to have gotten into a physical altercation inside of the deputy’s home, which then Deputy Ferrell’s current MCSO K9 and another retired one joined in on the fracas and bit the suspect.

It seems to have completely baffled Deputy Ferrell as to why someone would break into a home that so clearly displayed that there were both large dogs inside the home and that a law enforcement professional resided there:

“[There’s] a ‘no trespassing’ sign directly on the gate that he had to open and there’s also a ‘dog on premise’ sign on the same gate right beside of the ‘no trespassing’ sign…

“My cruiser is out beside the house, I have dog signs everywhere, I have two German shepherd statues in front of the house, so it’s obvious there’s big dogs that live here.”

Aside from wondering why someone would strike up the nerve to break into a sheriff’s deputy’s home that was obviously guarded by dogs, having worked in law enforcement for so long Deputy Ferrell had never considered that one day he’d be the victim of a crime:

“I’ve been doing this for 15 years and for somebody to actually be in my residence that’s my property, that’s a different ball game. I’m out here to help other people and for me to actually become a victim, that’s highly unlikely but obviously it does happen.”

According to reports, Will is currently facing burglary charges for the alleged incident.

Gotta love a brainiac that breaks into a house with a patrol cruiser and beware of dog signs everywhere. Wonder if the Mensa people have contacted him yet to join their ranks?

Whenever I ask, while looking for these stories, “How stoopid can they get?”, they seem to take it as a challenge. Doctor Reverend Pimp Daddy Feelgood will meet with you after prayer meeting.

Some stupid ones there for sure, especially the one that wanted to play with the puppies…

But it’s obvious that the only reason the PoPo would arrest a man who’s a doctor, minister, and politician (one would assume democrat?) is ’cause they’re RAAAAYYYYCISSSSS

Ret_25X

You have to go read the article for Doctor Reverend Pimp Daddy Feelgood (thanks, KoB!).

He says he “was set up”!

No fool, you were caught!

Maybe the guy who broke into the LEO’s house couldn’t read so he was unable to read Police on the car and the outside signs.

These guys are next level stupid. A doctor who doesn’t have enough cash to pay a hooker so he commits a felony instead? A stalker pretending to be a prosecutor? This is some next level stuff.
