Man shot to death at Akron liquor store; police believe it may have been self-defense
The victim allegedly shot a man before he himself was hit by bullets.

A 34-year-old man is dead following a shooting at an Akron liquor store Friday evening, and authorities are still trying to piece together what happened.

Preliminary information indicates a 38-year-old man had arrived in a Nissan and was later leaving the Country Market on East South Street when he got into an altercation with the victim. The 34-year-old then drew a gun and shot the 38-year-old in the hand, and apparently the 26-year-old driver of the Nissan then exchanged gunfire with the 34-year-old and shot him before fleeing the scene.

The 34-year-old was taken to Summa Health Akron City Hospital, where he later died. The 38-year-old was taken by the Nissan driver and alleged shooter to the same hospital, and his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.

Local homeowner shoots man he says vandalized his truck
Resident fired at least five shots

Police are investigating after a Killeen homeowner told officers he shot a man who vandalized his truck and then threatened him with an aluminum baseball bat.

The resident, who wasn’t identified, told officers the man arrived at his home at around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Kingwood Drive and damaged his truck, which was parked in the driveway, police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said.

When the resident went outside, he saw the man driving off in a blue Honda.

“The homeowner went back in the house and retrieved a handgun and when he came back out the same male stopped in the roadway of Greengate Drive on the side of the house and approached the homeowner with an aluminum bat,” Miramontez said.

If the above pic was taken in Kalifornia, how come the chick with an AR platform whom is now the apple of my eye isn’t wearing a mask, and if she was, we could sing who is that masked chick and we could say she’s the long T ranger, Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Bop hi o Silver away. Can’t find who did that 50’s novelty song but remember it well.

Welp, Imma here…finally. I guess I should give an accounting of myself. Was up fairly late on evening last, not sure if the Bull Dawgs lost their ass, had their ass handed to them, or just felt sorry for Nick being sick and decided to give that ball game to Alabama. Can’t spot the other side 3 touchdowns/turnovers and expect to win. Imma sure that Mama’s oldest son down there in LA (Lower Alabama) is burning up my Baby Girl’s in your Spacebook Facepage thingie. Talk about your excessive chest thumping. To all of the other Crimson Tide Fans, again, congrats on the win.

Then you have the temperature change resulting in a battle between 5 fur babies (4 feline, 1 canine) Ms Lady Friend, and myself for the covers thru out the night. Not sure how the others fared but I ended up capturing a nice set of breastworks. And I got to check on one of the neighbors. I believe their big bon/trash fire they had was interspaced with aerosol cans. They been cleaning out an old storage shed and instead of taking up my offer to haul the trash off in Big Red, they been burning it. We gonna have a come to Jesus meeting about that today. ‘Bout every 30 minutes or so one would cook off. BOOM!

Looks like the trash in Akron is doing a fair job of taking itself out. Keep it up. And I had a case back yonder where dumbass decided to bring a baseball bat to what would have become a gun fight. He took his toy and went home.

Nice little pocket watch stinger you gots there Mister. Good for keeping their head down while you gets your hand cannon out.

Speaking of breastworks that need to be captured….I’ll lead the flank assault!

That Akron news story is hard to follow: The “victim” is 34 (33 as the young lady on News 3 said), gets in a fight with a 38 year old, and a 26 year old comes by in his Nissan, which may or may not have dropped off the 38 year old. The 34 year old “victim” then shoots (sounds to me like he is not the victim but the instigator) the 38 year old in the hand, but the 26 year old exchanges shots with him and he dies, they all go in separate cars to the nearby hospital, one of which may have been a Nissan!
