Questions arise in abundance over this. A circus today does not mean what it meant during the corrupt day of the Roman Empire, but it’s starting to approach that level of entertainment. After all, if gladiatorial combat meant that people could go home and stuff themselves afterwards, it did not mean there were no shenanigans going on at all levels in the Roman government. At some point, the Praetorian Guard took over deciding who would be Caesar. The Republic had long since disappeared into the mists of history.

Morning Folks,
Just hanging around working and trying to take a few minutes and catch up on TAH threads.
I keep getting distracted by X-Box and a new limited time game on Fortnite, Single Sniper against 99 other snipers. Kind of cool, I’ve been like 92 and 85 and such if I can’t make it to the ground first, landing (after parachuting) and get a weapon before someone else does and shoots me.
On the other hand, I’ve gotten in the top 10 quite a few times even number 3 and number 2. Kind of cool as my son says this is my forte, in the game, camping, shooting and scooting and crouching all the time. No ghillie suits here and such, just running and trying to keep ahead of the “storm” a circular conflagration that is always on the outer boundaries of the game and shrinks the game play area every few minutes, stealing health if you’re caught in it and killing a few, making one keep on their toes and keeping the game pace on point until the end.
Speaking of checking in, my rehab folks have cut me back to two days. They were very gracious to have let me be on 3 nights a week for an extended period of time. The math behind it will not allow anyone to be in the program indefinitely, even of one, like me, has replaced their military service and desire to serve, with my rehab group. (funny and weird how that happened.)
In addition, I am also somewhat “addicted” to my TAH group and folks here to much love to all of you and hope you’re doing well this Tuesday.
Trying to see Comet Neowise in the evenings but so far, no joy, as we’ve had clouds. Maybe soon.

I certainly hope these dirtbag clowns get perp walked much sooner than later, and I realize we’ll be lucky if we see even one, but I am confident that at least a few will be dick smashed.

I have been working from home full time the entire time. That’s why I kind of haven’t had a lot of time for TAH because at work in cubicleville, I actually set time aside for TAH each hour in the work environment, but at home, there are so many more distractions that I have to focus more about getting a solid 8 hours on during the 12 hours I have the laptop on between like 9 to 9 every day.
If you’re talking about the Shingles, I’m doing much much better but I have to be cautious and allow my leg muscles to catch up to reality with some slight atrophying happening in the past months. Have to get the strength back up.
Well then, get well and get better and take your time doing so!
Don’t know about Fortnite. I just got an RTS game off Steam called Radio Commander. It’s set in Vietnam with you as an infantry company commander. The twist is that you don’t have the standard God’s-eye-view. The entire game takes place in a hootch at a firebase. You have a map and a radio, and have to coordinate multiple platoons, plus air and artillery support, medieval, etc. The map doesn’t update itself, either; you have to call each element and have them give you their coordinates, then place markers yourself. It’s a bit of a change from most.

Damn odd that, if you look thru pictures of Trump and many of his detractors from years back, they were all lovey dovey, buddy buddy.
