But He’s Not From Chicago, so…..!

A dead cat gets voter registration in the mail: https://www.foxnews.com/us/dead-cat-voter-registration-application

And he wasn’t even living in Chicago! Unfortunately for the senders, Cody the cat died 12 years ago at the ripe cat age of 18 years and counting. He was friends with everyone and never met a bit of catnip he didn’t like.

From the article:  Scratch this name off the list.

An Atlanta family said it received a voter registration form this week for their cat Cody Tims – who died 12 years ago.

“There’s a huge push but if they’re trying to register cats, I’m not sure who else they’re trying to register,” the late feline’s owner, Carol Tims, told Fox5 Atlanta. “I’m not sure if they’re trying to register dogs, mice, snakes.”

The Tims say they found the form addressed to the cat in their mailbox on Wednesday.

Carol Tims described Cody as a “great cat, indoor and outdoor” who “loved his family, loved his neighborhood” and lived to the age of 18. – article

Words fail me. That noise you heard was me falling off my chair, laughing.

But in case you’re wondering , here’s another article on the perilous business of vote fraud.  NEW REPORT ARGUES PERILS OF MAIL-IN VOTING GO BEYOND FRAUD

From the article:  A new report from a conservative group on the potential problems with large-scale mail-in voting argues that a recent push from states to send ballots to all registered voters for November’s election would not only expose them to possible fraud but could likely result in a significant waste of taxpayer dollars.

Expensive? Yes. Subject to fraud? Yes. Wasting money that could be spent otherwise? Yes. But – well, how about we start offering a purple pinky dip after someone votes, as some countries do over in the Other World.

My elder golden retriever named Vegas was in the phone book, she has been gone for years and still gets mail, I have her AARP card still. Her son Hondo crossed the rainbow bridge last month. He born in my living room, I held him for his first breath, twelve years latter I held him for last.
RIP
P.S The new pup is Loki, he is a good boy.

Same with my Special Little Buddy Beagle/Bull Dog Batch of Hell Hound. Tho gone since Nov ’06 (still seems like it was last week) he gets a multitude of Voter Ballots, vehicle warranty, credit card, and insurance savings offers. The Opt out option doesn’t work either.

All of the fur babies here have the democrat advantage of free food, rent, health care, and no sense of personal responsibility for their actions. My biggest fear is they will vote that way after I’m dead.

My cats vote Republican.

Our many dozens of cats, over the years, all voted Republican until they died, now they always vote D-rat. I’ve tried to change their voter registration, but our County Registrar won’t let me without a verifying paw print.

Here in VA there is already a method for absentee voting that works IMHO. You log onto the state department of elections website, enter your name, personal info, polling place and residence. They send you a ballot.

Sending ballots, en masse, is monumentally stupid at best and organized fraud at worst.

Makes ballot box stuffing operations real easy. Just get a few boxes of ballots (“Check, ballots distributed” is all they really know for sure at the board o’ elections), then have a few buddies fill ’em out and mail.

A Proud Infidel®™️

Manifold chances for cheating and fraud have been discovered with the proposed mail-in voting, thus it’s no surprise that the D-rats are screeching for it because then they can have the animals as well as the dead vote their way!

On the -current- absentee ballot process, here is a cheater. (Caught)

This only gets worse of we go to widespread “mail in” ballots, that have even less protections.

No.

Hack Stone

The great thing about this is article is that since the cheating was to the benefit of Republicans, Democrats will be inclined to post this article, which is only further proof that absentee ballots can be tampered with.

And here are about 600 more, give or take:

https://www.heritage.org/sites/default/files/voterfraud_download/VoterFraudCases_5.pdf

Since that was published, nearly 200 more cases have been documented. They can be found here:

https://www.heritage.org/voterfraud

Having done some non-exhaustive checking via reading parts of the original document, somewhat over half of the cases listed appear to involve absentee ballots.

Hack Stone registered his Old English Sheepdog at one of the restaurant chains so the he can get a free ice cream on his birthday. Every July there would be an envelope with a birthday card and coupon for said free ice cream. He also received a solicitation to “earn big money selling greeting cards to friends and relatives”. It got kind of awkward when the Usual Suspects would arrive at Stately Stone Manor every weekend for the weekly beer summit/barbecue and had to endure his sales presentation.

Back in my College2.0 days, someone put in a bunch of junkmail requests (“fill out our survey!”) for delivery to my home. Various roommates added to the junkmail pile.

Mostly the bogus ones were characters from role playing games: mine, NPCs, others.

Some followed me after several moves. It was weird when the characters or ex-roomies received junk at my new location before I received real mail.

My dogs vehicle warranty expired long ago but he
keeps getting the notices.

Maybe what we need is a National “I don’t vote” list.

See, this vote-by-mail thingy just doesn’t work for me, because I have NEVER EVER voted a straight party ticket. My local Congress Critter does his job properly and stays out of the spotlight, so I support him, and he’s a Dem.
I am and always have been and Independent, and always will be. Ergo, those mail ballots are absolute crap. They take away your choices from you. Not a good idea. I will never support that. EVER.

“those mail ballots are absolute crap. They take away your choices from you”

Maine will be using ranked choice voting on Susan Collins this year.
Talk about losing your choices! There is also a referendem on the ballot to
repeal ranked choice. Susie Collins is in deep shit.
The three liberals with the least votes will come up a winner with
one of them in the second round (second choice) of voting. In fucking sane.

penguinman000

Not sure how absentee ballots work elsewhere but here in VA it’s the exact same ballot choices as you get in the polling place. This applies for both primaries and elections.

With my work/travel I’m sometimes not in the same zip/state/country. So if I don’t get an absentee ballot I don’t get to vote.

Are the proposed election ballots party line with no option to vote for candidates from other parties?

When my father died, I inherited his cat. A large gray beast who thought he was a dog. About four years later circa 2001 he was diagnosed with diabetes. As a result I had to give him insulin shots on a daily basis. For the next seven years he had a prescription at the local Eckerd pharmacy in the name of Graycat USAFRetired for insulin syringes. For the first two years he also had one for human insulin until the Company that mad feline insulin strted making it again. For several years he recieved mail addressed to him at the house.

Milton Friedman, one of the most incredible men that ever lived, on the myths moving our country towards totalitarianism.

False myths:

1) The Robber Barons robbed people
2) The Great Depression was produced by a failure of private enterprise.
3) The myth of the demand for government services to fill in the shortages from private enterprise
4) The myth that there is such a thing as a free lunch.
5) Robin Hood, the government does not take from the rich to give to the poor, but to give to the bureaucrat.
