Three up, three down Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes. A Tuesday Trifecta for Brother Willie never fails to put a *grin* on my mug.

Not only am I first! But to wake up to a FGS Trifecta, what a morning!!!
Beer all around for all my friends!!!

Roh-Dog

Which celebrities are going to kick, scream and cry over Chiraq? How many marches will it result in?
Will the MSM virtue signal all over the place about “if you don’t stand up for Shitcago, you’re part of the problem!”.
When can I get blamed for being white, privileged, and ‘as equal in guilt as every demon that pulled a trigger’ in Chicongo?
Meanwhile, my friends and our thousands of guns remain safe, unhomicided/unhomiciders.

Apparently, BLM believes only SomeBLM.

Or, they became hijacked by some sort of “smash the state and replace it with…” ideology.

Hm.

Terrific Tuesday Trifecta. Outstanding! Grinning indeed. Draw yourself an extra grog ration for your coffee and have another slab of the pecan pie…with some of the Chewy Cherry Cookies.

Posting that Kimber 100 year 1911 gets you more pulled pork with the cornbread dressing and some greens. That gun pr0n brings to mind one of the old Gospel Tunes we’d sing…”I’ve got Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy down in my heart…Down in my heart!”

Side bar in re the Chiraq numbers. Ms Thang on the local morning news show just announced as of the latest murder, in the Big City of Macon, yesterday, the year to date totals have exceeded the overall yearly total from 2019. And each one was Black on Black. Every.Damn.One! Percentage wise, by population, those numbers exceed Chiraq.

Wilted Willy

I’m right there with you 5th. If there sorry ass lives matter so much, why is it they kill each other in such greater numbers than any white on black shootings? The numbers don’t lie! It reminds me of the old saying about figures don’t lie and liars always figure!

It is all because the White Oppressive Police Departments (WOPD) keep breaking up choir practices and dominoes practices!
Everyone knows that if you get the Police out of the way, all these minority on minority or minority on majority attacks will mysteriously vanish!
As will be demonstrated by the forward thinking Minneapolis City Council a nice Community Standards (read Sharia Law)patrol will ensure the communities are safe for all righteous men, non-believers, and apostates.

Love the scroll work and finish on that purdy 1911A1! It would go nicely with my Sunday best, and the pearly handles will be classy showing from my breaches and suspenders at the Sunday-go-to-meeting!
But thems be kinda steep prices for a pew-pew!!

They’re ivory. Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would carry a pearl-handled pistol.

I put Dawson sights on my Kimber Custom.
Ed Brown barrel and magazines, hand cut grips and it shoots better than any pistol I have ever shot in my life.
It’s always dead nuts on, cold, hot, in between and it never, I repeat never jams.
Less than a grand invested initially, a bit more than that now, but I fail to see how any other firearm can shoot better than it no matter how much it cost.
AND .45 ammo is still fairly plentiful, online anyway.
It’s a hand cannon, if you point it at someone, they will understand in a very short period of time that they had better cool their jets or they won’t make it home alive…
50 yards out, it’s still pretty darn good at center mass. If I could see better, I would probably do head shots without difficulty.
Everybody at the range loves it, most of all ME !!!!!

Adding to the fun – a Cleveland bakery avoided looting via the 12 gauge way: https://www.buckeyefirearms.org/%E2%80%98they-got-guns%E2%80%99-rioters-quickly-lose-sweet-tooth-after-cleveland-bakery-owners-greet-them-firearms

Re the 1911 – there are two ways to do it. One is the cheap acid-coloring which costs pennies and is a few microns thick – it wears off like blueing does. Then there is the burning straw deep case hardening, and the best in the world is Doug Turnbull who not only does that but the two different types of blue on the gun. Then there is the hand engraving, the fitted match barrel, and the fact that they only made 250 of these. I suspect trying to duplicate this on your own would cost you well more than the $4500 Kimber charged.

11B-Mailclerk

The chemical stain “color case” is inferior to bluing. It rusts readily, and is particularly prone to rust from sweat.

Such fake color is the only thing I do not like about the Ruger Vaquero guns.

The real “color case hardening” serves no modern purpose, as proper modern steel and heat-treatment is superior.

However, proper color case hardening is magnificent.
