I’ve been sitting on this file for more years than I care to count – mostly because it’s so complicated. But the folks at Military Phonies mentioned Phil Haberman, AKA DJ Drager, the other day, so I figured that I’d better get on the stick. This guy was dubbed GI Jerk by the Dallas Observer for the way he tried to cheat his wife and the Army. There have been extensive articles written about him on Love Fraud;
He’s also tried his own Nigerian scam tempting people to help him ship found money out of Iraq.

Did you see the photo of this assclown in USMC Summer Service ‘C’ uniform with Sergeant stripes in the ‘Love Fraud’ article posted above? Looks like he’s wearing a scuba bubble and USN/USMC jump wings. However, I can’t make out what any of the ribbons are.
Apparently, on top of all of his other bullshit, this turd blossom is also claiming to have served in the Marine Corps from 1989-1998.
In that same article, he also claims to be ‘trained as a sniper, an underwater specialist and crypto-linguist’.

He was a Marine, if I remember correctly he was only in the Marines for a short time before he was shown to the door. He wore that same outfit on as game show. He was not a Sgt.

Who the hell wears a utility uniform to a courtroom? THAT alone should be enough to identify him as a poser and bounce the turd straight into a cage.
When I was stationed at Ft Stewart, it was a base regulation that anyone attending court, for any reason whatsoever, was to be in correct Class A uniform. The guidance I received wwas “If you are dropping off paperwork, or just run inside a court building to buy a coke, better have your A’s on and squared away”.
I was called as a witness to the Federal court on base, and three differnet NCO’s checked me out before allowing me to go. Oddly, the one MP present for the case was in BDUs (oops), two more were absent (whoopsie), and the one actual defendant/participant came dressed “biker” (YGBFSM!).
The judge thought I was the defendant, because I was in uniform. Getting that straightened out took some time. “No really sir. My name is not (bikerdude). See? It is right here on my uniform.” (MP: facepalm)

When I was stationed at Ft Stupid, I had to take two Joes from my squad up to TDS (trial defense services) before they were to receive company grade Art 15s. You should have seen that packed waiting room.
I thought we had behavior problems out at the 25th ID.. After deployment I went to Benning as an instructor and a bunch of guys went to The Rock, saw them on a TDY teach.
I saw Joes talking back to NCOs, the stories of Joes going savage; drugs, assaults, armed robberies…
I got the unsolicited advice, if I got orders, sign a dec-statement.

It looks like he spent his whole time in the National Guard and the DD-214s were from his releases from Active Duty for Training. Somehow he got into the 19th SFG as a support guy and they sent him to comms school at Gordon.

I can’t believe, I just had lunch with this scumbag a couple weeks ago. He came off as a little phony but I didn’t expect this. I was working with him to get a couple dogs sent back to the US.
