Actually, that was the “Airbourne” course, according to the form.
(What other course would a James Bourne wannabe go to?)
But seriously, there have been 2 week “mobilization POI” Basic Airborne courses held for members
of the United States Army Reserve as Annual Training (aka “Summer Camp”) taught by cadre from Fort Benning at another installation in support of Special Forces units. We did one at Fort Devens, MA for members of the 11th SF Group. Three weeks compressed into two, no tower, the students were smoked by the Ft. Benning cadre, the 11st SF Group cadre, and the 10th SF Group cadre. They really earned their wings.
So I assume if USAR could do it, NG’s could do it too.
