Another phony, wannabe type. It appears he went through the same Basic Training company (B-1-3) I did at FLW.
Looks like he was a draftee – did his 2 year Active Duty requirement as an admin type, followed by 2 years “Ready” reserve and 2 years “Standby” reserve time. Other than his time at FLW it looks as if his other military duty may have consisted of two, 15 day Annual Training stints as a “filler” with some reserve unit.

Tony Gallagher is my father. In 1987, when Reagan gave that speech, he was living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and I promise was in no physical shape to defend anyone from anything. He sure enjoyed knocking his wife and kids around though. He wasn’t anywhere near Vietnam in 1975 — he was in Massachusetts, about to do time in prison for embezzling from the state pension program. He disappeared in 1988 from Cedar Rapids and turned up again in 2003, living in Sedalia, Missouri, where, as you note, he was part of the 40×8. I went there once, in 2015, and met a stunning number of people who believe his lies. I’m so sorry for his actions.
