why? Why?
I can not fathom why anybody would inflate their honorable service to their country? The act of Serving in and of it’s self is the Honor!
Most of us never saw Combat, many will not suffer the trauma our true combat troops will bring home? If they get to come home.
I served 9 honorable years as a Aircraft support troop, I worked my tail off and got promoted and saw the world, that is what I was called to do, I share great stories with my grandkids about my time in service, and when they ask ” papa” did you hurt anyone during the war? I answer honestly, no I did not because that was not my job! I unloaded and loaded cargo jets way far away from that.
The truth shall set you free!
